Want to contribute a review?  Or tell me that the CP 88 actually weighs 2.24 pounds rather than the 2.25 quoted in the reivew?  Or point out where I have got a review wrong or right?  Or just share your experiences of replica pistols?

  1. I have a ANICS Beretta A-9000S. It has the pin that pierces the co2 cartridge broken. I am looking for anyplace that I can get this gun fixed. My wife bought this gun for me as a gift, and I really like it, and want to have it repaired. Do you know anyplace I can get it fixed ? I have tried many gun shops, all have refused to work on it. I tried to contact the company, but they never replied back./ Thanking you in advance for any help. If I can not get my gun repaired, I would like to find a place I can purchase the same gun.

    • Hi Ricki,

Sorry to hear that you’re having problems with your A-9000S.

Spares for Anics pistols are a major problem, and Anics are very poor at responding to customer issues. I’d suggest that you need to find a good airgunsmith to repair the pistol. I don’t know where in the world you’re based, but I have used Nick at Magic9 Design in the UK several times (in the article Refurbishing a Crosman Peacemaker on the site, you can see how be made a new firing pin after I broke the original). Nick does a first-rate job. You could always try sending him a picture and e-mail describing the problem? You can get the e-mail address at the Magic9 website: http://www.magic9designltd.com/ Even if you’re outside the UK, it might be worth considering the cost of airmail to rescue your pistol. Obviously, you shouldn’t send the whole pistol to Nick, just the broken part. All incoming airmail goes through some form of scanning, and though it’s perfectly legal in the UK, the A-9000 looks sufficiently like a real pistol that you may find people in uniform knocking on your door if you try to post the whole pistol to the UK via airmail.

Other than that, I’m not sure what to suggest, except perhaps scanning the classified ads to find a used A-9000 for sale, and using that for parts. Not ideal, and a rather expensive way of getting the bits you need, but at least then you’d have a source of other spares for the pistol.

Hope this helps and good luck.

      Steve
